Remember when you got your first record? Remember anxiously taking it home so YOU can play it yourself in the record player? The smell of a new album.. Ah.. .. I know you can relate. Sometimes when we hear a certainly melody again it takes us back to a memorable past and we start to remember where and when we heard the song, the year it was released and who we were with. The memory is triggered to a certain time and place of significance and we reminisce back to a certain event.

This event “Share your own vinyl” is for all music lovers and is about YOU sharing your favorite songs and your favorite albums to the rest of us in a nicely dimmed lights and romantic ambiance that only Indigo can bring.
"Share your Own Vinyl" inspired Lana one afternoon after visiting a home on Black Point that once belonged to piano player and composer, the legendary "Father of Exotica," Martin Denny. The next day, Lana discovered a few Martin Denny albums in her family collection and felt the inspiration to create a night like this. If you love vinyl as much as we do, please share your music with other music lovers the way that you remembered them and tell us about the hidden gems.

So we decided to have it on the same night of Lana's birthday celebration. Please come and wish her a happy birthday, have some cake and say hello.

If you are interested in participating at "Share your Own Vinyl," please bring your favorite record of any genre or from any decade, your favorite soundtracks, your favorite jazz, soul, funk, disco, 80s albums, your favorite classic rock albums, hiphop or country, etc.. and tell us about it. Is there a story behind it? Why do you like it? Let us play it on the record player! This event is both educational and fun and we get to learn from each other. Music is our religion. Let’s break bread together and have some wine, a few drinks, dance and worship the VINYL.

If you are interested in coming down to share your own vinyl, please send us an email with your name, the name of the album and the name of the artist.

Thank you so much and hope to see you there !
