80s Pop Muzik has passed its second year mark at Bar 35 and we've done it all- from fashion shows to themed parties, from movie nights, djs to live music, but we never had a Zumba Party before until now..

80s Pop Muzik presents LET'S GET PHYSICAL. Taking the smash hit by Australian pop star sensation, Olivia Newton John and her successful song released in 1981, "Let's get physical," all we need to complete this Zumba night of music is our Hungarian Zumba instructor and Count Dracula 2011 Janos Molnar taking the helm 80s style ! If you've never danced to Zumba to 80s Music before, come check it out and let's have a Zumba 80s Party ! Thank you to Universal Art and Nephilim Halls.

To complete the night, Two amazing guest djs are flying in from out of town to spin the best of the 80s for you: DJ Cindy Kim from New York and DJ Non from Portland and resident DJ Nocturna.

---About DJ Cindy Kim-----

Known for her so-called 'scenester-ness', this Reg.Nurse-by-day, DJ-by-night takes no prisoners...she likes to keep the 'beat' going all day/night long in both her work and play environments.Her first vinyl records were Olivia Newton John, Joan Jett and David David Bowie 'Ziggy Stardust', given to her when she was 8 yrs old. Having been in a ska-punk band called Tunnel Vision (playing and writing music with her trumpet) and had a radioshow as a broadcast DJ for most of her time during university, her life went for a 360 change now living in New York City for the past few yrs; she has DJ'd all over NYC/USA (Hiro Ballroom,SoHo/Tribeca Grand Hotel, Rebel, Lotus,Ella,world famous re-opened 80s CultureClub nyc, WebsterHall, Hotel Chantelle,just to name a few);spinning most dance genres (discopunk,80s freestyle,minimal tech-house,dancerock, etc) as well as in Honolulu,Hawaii (Acid Wash, previously in SoHo Bar and Thunderdome), WMC/Miami Ultra Music Festival (she was in the wmc Documentary 'Put the Needle on the Record' '2006)& DJ's in Canada as well. Currently she is focused on producing in NYC, and has radioshow at CIUT FM when visiting home Toronto, Canada.

---About DJ Non-----

Taking his dj name as "non" after the nihilist electronic artist Boyd Rice, DJ NoN has been involved in the music scene as a promoter / remix artist and DJ. He has played at clubs and events in the U.S. Canada, Mexico and several European countries. DJ NoN is mostly known for his harder edge "industrial" style of Djing but is probably one of the most versatile old school Djs around today having lived and played thru the 80's and having been involved in the early "rave" (techno, trance & house music) scene in the Midwest. DJ NoN with his trademark cowboy hat, punk dress style, diversity, and ability to read the crowd is what makes him unique. Currently he lives and promotes shows in Portland using his promotion company Decadent Events and spinning at his weekly events such as Dementia, Decadent 80s, Oubliette and Continuum.
